Free home foreclosure prevention workshop Wednesday in Oroville – Enterprise

OROVILLE — A free home foreclosure prevention workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Southside Oroville Community Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Road.

Dan Beveridge will speak about options whether homeowners are current or behind with their residential mortgage payments.

Beveridge is Northern California’s only HUD-certified housing consultant and works for Community Housing Improvement Program. He will also talk about modification programs, talking with lenders, and tips for completing a loan modification packet.

A break-out session will also be held, with information available from Butte County Department of Social Services, One-Stop Community Employment Center, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health, Legal Services of Northern California, and Passages Adult Resource Center.
